SUMMARY: Bakura came to meet Alastair after work and gets a ride on the Ducati

Whatever power had taken hold of Alastair, it was annoying. At least it wasn't a constant, dull roar of every sound in the City being filtered through his mind, but being able to randomly pick up on conversations anywhere in the building was starting to become bothersome. He had a short attention span most days, this was getting to feel like someone was in his head with a remote control and 500 channels to flip through while he was trying to code holographic software.
Five o'clock came to rescue him, he wasn't waiting around a minute longer. He had to get away from these people, put on his motorcycle helmet and forget about everything he had accidentally overheard all day. He threw on his coat and buckled the belt, and went downstairs with his laptop satchel and helmet to get his bike. He was expecting Bakura rather shortly, so the least he could do was pull out onto the street where he could be seen, in order to wait. He even left the helmet off for now, as much as he desperately wanted to jam it on his head and muffle the city sounds as best he could.
