Kogenta had practically bolted out of the door as soon as the sun set. He was raring to go - fights were few and far between in the City, and seeing he was used to a schedule of nonstop battle, it was driving him crazy. It didn't even matter that all his opponents were human, though he itched for a monster he could fight as a tiger without any regret.
It was just wrong, he had decided, to fight humans as a shikigami - he was used to that being utterly against the rules, and though he could now, that didn't mean he should. He was sticking to his old set of laws as closely as possible, even if it was foolhardy of him to.
So he waited for his opponent, standing with his arms across his chest, looking for all the world like some stupid Japanese kid who'd got into somewhere he shouldn't have been.
