[Rikki's been awake for awhile, but the noise of something being ripped apart and then something else shattering is enough to make her bolt towards Thom's room.]

Thom? Thom! [She flings his door open and then just stares at him for a heartbeat before rushing over to him, trying to remember everything she'd learned in SHIELD about treating injuries before realizing that, duh, he can heal himself after she helps him up.]

Oh my God, what happened?

[mistersensitive]

[Oh! Well, yeah, the sound would have caught someone's attention. Thom looks up at Rikki, still half-sitting in the pile of debris, not sure what to do exactly but her presence is sort of helping. Not exactly logical, but it doesn't matter right now.

Because he's bleeding. And his hands won't heal.]

I don't know! [He's half whining. He shouldn't be whining. He takes in a deep breath and looks at his hands.] And I can't. I can't heal --

[That's when he stops bleeding and stares at his wounds closing by themselves.]

Well apparently it doesn't matter if I can't heal because I heal anyway! [He's panicking again.] Rikki, god, what's going on?

[Rikki would really like to panic right about now. Panicking would be a relief. But she can't. She bites the inside of her lip, using the pain to focus.]

Okay. Okay. Uh. God. Okay. [She bites harder.] Okay. Um, well, it'll be bad if the healing leaves the bits inside, so uh. Okay, let's get you up, first of all, and then we'll figure this out.

[She reaches her hand out to him, unaware that this is a decision she's going to be regretting.]

[A million deep failed deep breaths.] Okay. Okay I can stand up.

[He reaches to grab the hand Rikki is offering him to help him up.]
