Spotting Alastair, he grinned, walking over to him. Jean-Paul was wearing a tight black t-shirt and looser jeans. "Alastair! Sorry if I'm a bit early. That's the price you pay for inviting a super-speedster with an open schedule."

He slowed but didn't pause as the set changed, to give the next tune a chance before he decided whether he wanted to dance to it. "I guess a drink is in order," he said at last. "I should make sure my friends are all right, too - just a look around to make sure Bakura didn't get dragged off by some burly queen or a pack of girls."

As the two headed towards the bar, Jean-Paul sat down on a stool. "Which one's Bakura again? I don't think I ever talked to him."

He chose not to sit, but rather lean on the bar beside Jean-Paul. "Shorter than me, very obvious shag of white hair. He's a sweet guy, a little inexperienced. He's a healer, so you'll usually see him pipe up whenever people get hurt and broadcast it."

Even with the physical description, Jean-Paul couldn't picture the man. "Well, I'll make sure to introduce myself the next time I get disembowled or something like that." He idly waved his hand. It takes a certain kind of superheroic activity to be able to talk about disembowlment like most people talk about the weather.
