WHO: Cameron Hodge
WHERE: The lake and then some warehouse
WHEN: August 5th to tomorrow afternoon.
WARNINGS: HODGE'S THOUGHTS
SUMMARY: Hodge is gonna make it back to shore just for Warren ♥
FORMAT: Parafail
Getting out of Rictor and Shatterstar’s little prison had proven most difficult. It had taken hours, if not days to roll out of that thing. So much moving around and muffled screeching combined had set him loose upon the world again. The moment Hodge’s head was free; it flushed through the waters and was batted by fish. Disgusting. His glasses were broken and lost instantly, making the journey blur even more so. He watched them float to the bottom of the ocean, glaring a little as they left his side. Of course they had little use for him under the water, but he was still irritated. He missed his body; being a head was such an inconvenience.
Hodge would not let this deter him from his goals. There was an entire city full of mutants that needed to be dealt with, and he was the person for the job! Though unsure of what would happen in his absence, Hodge knew he had to return for at least Worthington. That fool would not escape his wrath, no matter what. Cameron would always return, always rise and they would fight again. It was how things worked; Warren should have been used to it by now.
Rictor and Shatterstar, though, were also a high priority concern. He would scoff if the water around him would allow it! Rictor. Rictor that disgusting excuse for a gene joke, he spit on him! Hodge was still not impressed with that! He thrashed around at the very memory, so utterly horrified by it. How sick. That thing, that thing spit on him. He needed to be killed. Tortured. Maimed. Broken over and over again. Hodge would make sure to see the boy's tears again.
Perhaps he could simply torture Rictor again, make him unleash his powers upon the city and then blame it on mutants. Hah. Such good memories!
But Worthington was the biggest threat. For Worthington alone, Hodge would return. That fool clown would not be the one to kill him; that fate was left in the hands of Cameron Hodge and no one else. Angel was his. Oh, Hodge would be back for him.
Swimming was very difficult as a head. Hodge found himself floating amongst the fish and practically forcing them to give him much needed pushes. He needed to get back to shore and hopefully back to his body. He wondered if he could even reattach himself? He hoped so! If not, there was other ways of pretending to be whole with the clever use of cardboard. He’d done it before and fooled everyone who saw. All it would take was some arts and crafts, of which he could easily do. And he had his abilities, so it was possible he could create something new. He was unsure. Hodge never asked Warlock questions as he died, only enjoyed it. Laughter had drowned out anything else. Amusement. Oh, watching mutants suffer was just wonderful. No matter how long it took, Hodge would get to do it again. It was his meaning in life, what it always came back to. He would torture them and make them miserable and enjoy every last second of it.
He was getting impatient.
Hodge yelled out against his surroundings, but his words were silenced by water. That filthy demon! If one were to grant true immortality, could he not have been able to sprout a new body at instant?! This was such a hassle. Worth it, most likely, but still infuriating. Having a pair of arms or legs to assist in his return would be very welcomed! Being nothing but a little head slowed things down and Hodge really did not like that. He wanted to go back to the city, kill all the mutants and just live happily ever after. It was his dream, after all. What he truly desired in life! To destroy them ALL!
Like Worthington.
Just thinking about Angel was enough to give him some sort of determination. He pushed himself, forced his head to move against water that was not being considerate. Warren would fix his woes. Mere thoughts of angelic wings and that beautiful face was enough to fuel more hate and rage. He would kill that creature, he would! Warren always seemed to win when they battled, but that would not happen the next time. Hodge would become better, more powerful. No matter how much Warren used his other form, no matter how much he pretended to be Death; he was still a perfect angel. Hodge would win. Hodge would win. Hodge would win. Hodge would win.
Humanity deserved triumphs.
Cameron kept at it, nothing but sheer determination keeping him going. He did reach the shores, eventually, but he was unsure how long it took him. Not concerned with that quite yet, he flopped around to return to where his body had been left. It wasn’t far from here, but the journey was long for just a head. He had to flip around and roll all over the place, getting sand in his mouth as he moved. Hodge’s sight was horribly blurred, but he would get new glasses the moment he was able. For now, he only had to focus on getting to his body. Perhaps he wouldn’t be able to change back to his human form, but that might be okay! Though his human form was much more beautiful, his techno organic one had power. So much power that he could drool at the thought of it. Hodge wanted to take every mutant power in this miserable city and use it against those freaks. He’d kill them. THEY WOULD ALL DIE!
Especially Worthington.
Hodge reached the place his body had fallen, the area where those fools had defeated him. He laughed giddily when he caught sight of his body. He sang to it strangely, and it rose. Oh, this was just perfect! Hodge started to bounce the best he could, bouncing and bouncing until he was caught by a tentacle. The body part fused him back to where he belonged, and he laughed. Oh, this was turning out quite keen indeed! Hodge was so happy. He was finally going to get everything he wanted, and not hide behind lies anymore. He decided it was pointless and far too aggravating to do so anymore. His damage was done to the mutants within the city, and now it was time to hit them elsewhere. Layla had been fun. He needed more children like her to play with and tear apart. Maybe not even take their powers! Hah, he could just break them and watch them die little by little.
“Heeee!”
After giggling to himself for many, many moments, he decided to test out his powers. Sure enough, he shifted his body and returned human looking. He spun around in a fit of glee, cackling as he did so. Warren. Oh, Warren you were going to suffer! He couldn’t wait!
Hodge sat on the floor, finally pulling out his comm to see what he had missed. Of course his vision was blurred, but luckily he had an extra pair of glasses in his suit pocket. They broke enough that he had learned to carry a back up over the last couple months.
He began skimming the entries.
Oh. Starscream had betrayed him; how amusingly predictable.
Oh. Layla was back.
Oh. She remembered him. Good.
Oh.
Oh.
OH!
What was this? Did Worthington---did Worthington have another girlfriend?! It seemed so, the way some comments sounded. Hodge fell on his back and laughed at that. He was excited. Not only did he get to kill Warren, but he got to kill some foolish female as well! This would be much better than Candy Southern! Perhaps that one would put up an entertaining fight. Oh, and Warren. Angel would get that hurtful determination on his face, something so desperate and willing. Kill me and not her, please.
Hodge would not grant Angel that mercy; he didn’t deserve it.
With that thought, Cameron decided he didn’t want his Angel to die anymore; he only wanted him to suffer. Forever unhappy and self loathing sounded like a most excellent plan. Hodge decided that it would be Warren’s new fate. Not to die, but to live in misery forever.
He pressed a few buttons on his communicator, readying a video post. No more holding back on anything, no more lying. So with one giddily gushingly tone of voice, Hodge opened his mouth.
“One hundred and seventy four.”
He began preparing his come back, secretly plotting ways to break Warren and Rictor as he did so.
