There was silence on the radio waves as all four of them considered the parallels. It wasn't a big surprise that there existed such governments everywhere; mankind's biggest desire was, and likely always will be, military power before all else. It was what the Earth Sphere and OZ both looked to the colonies to provide for them. The deeply-ingrained survival instincts within humans translated into an almost-compulsive need to acquire more arms for "national security".
