[She didn't care if he didn't want her there; nothing was stopping Alison from visiting Warren. She walked into the room, expression falling when she caught sight of him.]

Warren...

[He looks up, watching her through swollen eyes. He doesn't smile.]

I knew you wouldn't listen to me.

Of course I wouldn't!

[She approaches, going up right next to him. Alison hates seeing him like this. She places a hand over his forehead, unable to form anything resembling a happy expression.]

[He flinches at the touch, almost scared of feeling any contact when he was like this.]

You should have!

Too bad, honey. We're friends.

[She doesn't move her hand, only presses her lips against his forehead. Before she even knows what's happening, words fall out of her mouth in the form of lyrics. She's singing to him.]

[Her kiss makes him shiver, and he hates that he gets such love from her sometimes. He shouldn't have it.

But it's her voice that makes him do it again. It shuts him up and he lays back watching her. How many times had she sung to him before? It brought back a sense of familiarity.]

[The lyrics are calming like a lullaby. Her powers are starting to sparkle, too. The light surrounds them both, calming down any sort of bad emotion he could be feeling. Her voice is quiet, but loud enough to affect him.]

[The sound of her voice begins to fade in his ears as the lights take over, and soon he's laying back and watching them silently. He's not in the right state of mind to protest or even complain about being babied. He needs the relief, so he lets her.

It's a beautiful sound, anyways.]

[She continues to sing, the room probably growing even brighter than it should. She doesn't pay attention. It's a pretty song, and she doesn't want to stop.]

[he doesn't make her. The lights aren't bright enough to hurt him, but enough to make his vision a relaxed sort of fuzzy. It's almost like a pain killer in a way, and he can't help but smile.]

[She keeps comforting him, singing her heart out and letting her powers dance around them. It's cooing, it's peaceful. It's what he needs and she's the only one who can give it to him.]

That's nice...

[It's a mumble, but better than the raspy growl he's been speaking with.]

[Her voice breaks to speak, but she's back to singing right away. Warren isn't a monster. She knows that much. She still sees him as the angel who swept her off her feet in the middle of the night sky.]

[Why isn't she afraid of him? Warren tried to kill her, as far as he could remember. It didn't make sense to him why people were sympathetic right now.

The lights kept willing those thoughts away though, no matter how hard he tried to keep thinking them. Dammit, Dazzler.]

[She knows he's not really like that. She knows what happened isn't his fault. Her light keeps pouring and her voice gets softer.]

[His lips quirk up just slightly and back down again as he watches her, and when she finishes, he speaks]
