There stood only a single, lonely, lonely looking window to allow Peter access to Gin's apartment, and he took to it as carefully as he would take any portal to a would-be crime scene, slowly landing next to it so that he could know, once, twice, three times.

"Rooooooom-service!"

From what he could see, the place was a mess. Gin had barely escaped with his life.

True, there was plenty of work yet to be done before the area resembled an actual home, and from what was still standing, there remained plenty of reminders of the fight that had occurred: deep gashes and claw marks littered the walls, and pock-marks in the shape of thin holes, made perfectly by pointy tendrils, left parts of the apartment looking more like swiss cheese than anything ( ... )

Peter made his way into the apartment with a cautious, almost practiced ease, making sure to keep away from any parts of the floor that looked dangerously flimsy or recently patched up. The place really looked a mess -- from the ruined walls to the burnt, scorched black marks doting what Peter could only guess what the epicenter of the battle, everything around either destroyed or in severe need of repair, almost as if a hurricane had run through.

"Not right now, no. But I could probably go out later if you weren't," Peter froze, and made a face behind his mask. "--Completely in need of medical attention. Yeeech." He chuckled a bit under his breath as he made his way toward the man, making sure to not knock anything over. "Remind me never to give out where I live over the comms, man. You kind of look like something the dog dragged in."

In the center of the living room, into which the wrecked front door spilled and Spidey now entered, there sat a few pieces of furniture: two chairs, a couch, and a table. The table was not so much a table anymore, but more along the lines of firewood. The couch could still technically be called a couch, although half of it was entirely missing, shredded almost squarely down the center. One of the chairs was a mess, but miraculously, the other was completely intact, no claw, burn, or sword marks in the least, and it was that chair that Gintoki offered to his guest while he himself took a seat, with a relieved sigh to be off his feet, on the half-couch ( ... )
