The Doctor turned his head left and right, scrutinizing the park for the source of the sound which had alerted his keen ninja senses that something was terribly wrong.
Thwack.
There it was!
Thwack.
Oh, no, he thought, breaking into a run. Oh please no. Please let me get there before it's too late.

Mcninja saw his target- a young boy wielding an axe against an old, dead-looking tree- and leapt into a flying tackle. The boy yelled as he was abruptly borne to the ground and found a masked man in a lab coat on top of him.
"Phew," Doc said. "Close one."
