It was a testimony to how screwed up the love life of Scott Summers was that he didn't even know if this ranked as one of the top 5 awkward moments with a significant other. Scott was used to messed up situations with his significant others.
He was nervous though. Emma meant so much to him, he loved her so much, he wasn't sure what he would do without her while still seeing her every day. And if he was honest with himself, he needed her. So he busied himself with papers and looking over rosters and records while he waited for her to come. Did she even want to be with him at this point?
Well, there was no use worrying about it now, all he could do was wait.
