WHO: Blackarachnia; OPEN WHERE: The Park WHEN: 6/10; late night WARNINGS: just a grumpy spider for now SUMMARY: Blackarachnia's bored, tired of this place and grumpy. FORMAT: Whatever works
Flying was nice, especially in the summer evenings. It wasn't hot, but it wasn't cold either, which meant that Optimus didn't have to worry about regulating his body temperature. The wind whipped against his face, and he was starting to figure out why he'd wanted this so much.
Maybe this power switch was going to be for the best.
Still, he hadn't memorized the layout of the city from the air yet, so he decided to come in for a landing. He spied a patch of green, and swooped down. He was getting better at landing. Hopefully he hadn't landed in a place where too many people could see him.
Blackarachnia had spotted something flying by overhead. Although she didn't pay much attention to it. There were several metahumans in the City that could fly. She just watched as whoever it was came in lower.
She quickly realized of all metahumans it was... Optimus? Oh, right. He could fly. The femme watched him for a moment longer before she rolled her eyes and turned her attention to something else.
Unfortunately she couldn't ignore him. That chat with Peter came back to her. He was right, if she kept putting off saying she was sorry it'd just become harder.
With an annoyed sigh she got up and made her way over to the Prime.
Optimus dusted himself off, realizing that if he was going to be flying at night he should probably get something a little less... red. He stood out, and if he was trying to be subtle, wearing fire-engine red wasn't the best of plans.
Even if he was supposed to be a fire engine.
He heard a twig crack behind him, and turned around, spying Blackarachnia.
Well, he hadn't expected her. "Er, hi," he said, cautious. The last time he'd seen her was on Dinobot Island, and... well, that hadn't gone over very well. He couldn't remember the last time he'd seen her in the city, though, and when he tried it gave him a headache.

"Hello." she replied. She didn't even bother to cover up the emotion in her voice. She was annoyed and it was obvious.
"Have a nice flight?"
