The last time he went to a museum, it was because the Dark Yuugi had a definite path. A path set before him that he made with the help of his friends, to regain his long forgotten memories… The museum in the City, however, had no monuments of ancient battles or carved stones of monsters, they didn’t exist.

Here, there was no path for him.

Walking around the museum, he looked at all the exhibits. It was familiar to him, because it was practically the same history. The only difference was that no mysterious Pharaoh who had their name erased because of something so important that required it.

He sighed, shaking his head. A few months back, no… it was even more than that now, before he even decided to go through with Battle City… He thought it was okay to stay the same. Anzu shown him that it was okay to be afraid of where to go, and he decided to go to a museum that time too ( ... )

History...was it all that linear? Was the Nippon of this world what her land would become?

She knew that this past could hold some answers. All she had to do was search. A good ways from Amaterasu, though, there was a young man with strange colored hair staring at something. She wondered what he was contemplating, as he seemed to hold interest in the museum just as intently as she did.

The small object interested her.

"Hello," the old woman spoke. "What might that be?" She gestured to the small amulet.

Startled, he immediately looked behind him. Seeing it was just an old lady, he relaxed. Why did she seem familiar? He could have swore he didn't know any old people, besides Grandpa.

Dark Yuugi let go of the cartouche and let it fall against his chest, he didn’t bother hiding it. She already saw it.

“It’s a cartouche.”

"I see," Amaterasu replied. "There are a few for sale in the museum shop, I believe."

She turned away, but continued to speak. "It is somewhat strange to see youths interested in these museums. Might I ask why you are here?"
