It was only a minute before Boyd opened the door to his office wide and stood next to it, smiling. He had been looking forward to this meeting and he expected it to go quite well for both parties. "It's good to see you again. Please come in. Can I get you anything?"

"I wouldn't refuse a coffee, thank you," she smiled back as she entered the room. "I must say I'm impressed. You have a lovely building."

Boyd nodded at his secretary who got on the phone to request the coffee before he followed Talia into his office and closed the door. "Thank you. I know the style isn't to everyone's taste, but I find it helps employees feel much more relaxed during working hours than the usual cubicle prison."

It also helped keep them as employees. It was amazing how much someone could miss a koi pond in the office once they'd gotten used to it.
