[Roxanne brought with her a clay pot with a spicy curry inside; let's just say she felt the need to exercise some old skills after speaking with Sanji at length.]

[Bring up the arrival of her errant boyfriend from home at your own risk. She seems in decent enough spirits, but let's just say the holiday cheer has been somewhat diluted by stress. December was a very difficult month on all fronts.]

Hello! Merry Christmas, Roxanne. How are you doing? Have you had a good holiday?

It's been exciting, that's for sure. [Eh-heh-heh] Yours?

Not bad. Spent most of my time with the twins. It's nice to get here today as well, I feel like I've done nothing but go to parties.

[pluckyreporter]

Well, that sounds fun at least, if very busy. See all your friends, then?

Most of them! I haven't seen the Doctor, but I expect he's doing his own thing for Christmas.

Are you going to go to the ball dropping thing on New Year?

[pluckyreporter]

I might be. If I do, it'll be for work.

[ginnydor]

Oh, really? I suppose it's a good news story, the ball dropping and all. But wouldn't you prefer doing something fun instead of working?

[pluckyreporter]

Well, I enjoy my work a great deal. But I am a little tempted to let one of the junior staff handle this one.

You should. You work an awful lot, Roxanne, I always see your reports. Everyone deserves a break.
