[ For once he’s fresh out of disasters on the horizon. Fresh out of villains to chase, monsters to hunt down, and civilians to sweep out of arms way. It’s a good night. The perfect night to kick back for the reprieve he’s been waiting for and get that head start he's in need of to get his mind off Babs.
It’s a nice idea, in theory. And it’s stayed nice all this time, even with Thanksgiving and the fear gas and everything else that has to go with that by association. That subject he’s been avoiding every day for two weeks.
At this point it’s probably more than a little presumptuous to show up in something other the jeans. To even come with the assumption that they’re going out - even pretending to date just this one time - when she knows what she knows, now.
But he had promised he’d show. So at three minutes to seven he parks the bike down in the street outside the house, locks up and heads for the door at an even, unassuming pace. If he's earned enough brownie points to get anyone but Tonks on the other side of the door he’ll take it as a victory. ]
