Raven pushed the door open and stepped into the mall, holding it with one hand so Tonks could slip by her, and then let out a relieved little sigh as it closed. "I never thought I'd feel colder than I did living in England. It's too cold, though." She complained good-naturedly as she eyed the crowd. She'd dragged Tonks along because she didn't much care for shopping by herself, and she needed a sounding board...which the other shapeshifter was certainly useful for.
She unwound her scarf as she talked. "So, who're you shopping for?" Conversation avoidance, oh yes. She'd build up the nerve eventually.
