[ kanaya's clutching terezi's arm rather tightly. she'd hurt her very badly, and has every intention of making up for it, no matter the personal cost. she was pretty visibly tired, but wasn't about to let that affect her resolve ]

[mansansfear]

[Matt wasn't expecting Terezi to visit, but he's not unhappy to hear her outside his door. He's a bit surprised to hear someone else with her, though, and his expression reflects this as he opens the door and greets the girls.]

Good morning, Terezi.

[His expression falters when he takes in her posture, however. He immediately thinks the worst, despite not sensing any outwardly obvious injuries. At least she isn't gushing blood or something else that he can smell.]

[Terezi squirms out of Kanaya's grip as soon as she hears Matt's voice. She's exhausted and still in pain and feeling just about as guilty as Kanaya is, but none of that stops her from reaching out to find him and wrapping her arms around his middle, face and one horn pressed against him to save her from smushing her nose.

And a few seconds later she realizes that maybe she ought to say something. So without letting go she says, in the voice of someone who is feeling kind of small:]

This is Kanaya, she's a friend from home.

[ kanaya shifts her weight to the other foot awkwardly and begins to give a small wave until she remembers it wouldn't really serve any purpose. she's feeling like a bit of a third wheel, but she signed up to be the seeing eye sylph, after all ]
