[It didn't take long for Booga to find out where Onyx was dragged off to. His first reaction? Load up in guns and charge! .... That didn't go so well the first level of security. With yelling and profanity echoing through the halls, his weapons were confiscated. After a few tranquilizers and a nap, Booga was finally able to visit his friend... with supervision.

He got up to the glass, tapping at it.]

'Santhy! Shite, you ok? The fug happened?

[ She might be stuck as a human, but her sense of smell never suffers too much in this shape-- and if there's one scent she's come to recognize, it's mutant kangaroo. So she knows exactly who it is she's been pulled out of her cell to visit with, and the grumpiness has been toned down a little.

But just a little. ]

Nothing. [ clearly. She huffs and scowls at the wall. ] And yes, I'm fine. Despite the awful clothing.

[He smiles childishly]

Come now, it's not that bad. Bloody unlikely for you to look bad in anything though.

[Cheer her up, that's the plan]

And I doubt you did nothing to get in there. I stormed the place armed to the teeth and they didn't throw me in there with you.

[Lucky for him the guards must have sympathy for retarded animals]

You can tell 'ol Booga. If it was none of your doing maybe I wont let them tranq' me next time.

[ The compliment would usually work, but today it's only met by a heavier pout. Fortunately, that means she's a little too despondent to care about trying to keep up the innocent act. ]

Murder. [ A roll of her eyes, how could she be in here for something so mundane that's terrible. ] Apparently the previous owner of my apartment has gone missing.

[It wasn't too long after Khisanth had been imprisoned that Ysera noticed she was a) not happy at all, and b) in an area she'd never been before. Ever since she'd met Khisanth, Ysera had taken it upon herself to quietly check in on the other dragon now and then, just to reassure herself that she was still around and wasn't rampaging on the 6 o'clock news. However, this time, when she checked closer, she realized that Khisanth was in the prison for Imports. And the black dragon wasn't there visiting anyone.

After a bit more checking, Ysera decided to pay her a visit. Rather than upset the guards by just showing up in Khisanth's cell, Ysera went in like a normal human would, and soon found herself sitting across the glass from Khisanth.]

Hello, Khisanth.

[ Oh god, the weirdly good green dragon again. She'd been working pretty hard to avoid her, but-- well, it's a little difficult to manage that right now, isn't it? She stares sullenly, lips pursed. Fortunately, she knows better than to play up the insolence too hard. ]

Hello, Ysera. Come to shake your finger at me, I suppose.

[He'd kept his distance for a few weeks, sure the feelings would still be raw. It was last week that he sent her the book, as a gesture more than anything, but also a reminder of everything he'd been trying to teach her, a window into what came next. There was a reason for all of this, after all.

And now, when he finally comes to visit, he doesn't say anything immediately, just takes his seat on the other side of the glass and waits to get a good read of the situation as it is now. He has a pretty good idea already, but he wants to confirm before deciding his approach.]

[ The trouble with being locked into a form whose emotions she's not usually equipped to handle is that after a while they start to get out of control. And after three weeks of them, she's juuust a little crazy. So when she's told she has a visitor and shown into that little white room, her first instinct is wild hope. Maybe it's -- Booga, with some awful scheme to get her out. Or -- James? He knows better than to try breaking her out, but logic isn't exactly a strong point right now. So maybe Illidan -- no, he's still dead.

And then instead of any faces she'd have liked to see, what she gets instead is Vic. She crashes in an unhappy slump to her chair, arms wrapping around her middle and refusing to so much as look at him. Speaking is just right out. ]

[He had a feeling this would happen, but it would've been silly to think otherwise. He leans back in his chair, folding his arms. A smile still plays on his lips, nonetheless.]

What did you think of the book?

[ Well, now she's looking at him. Is an all-out glare really better than determined ignoring, though? ]
