Since winter was coming, Joel figured he should prepare for it. It was better than thinking about how he'd been in the City for almost a year anyway. He didn't want to think about how he'd been away from his family and friends for so long because that just depressed him. So instead he focused on things he'd need for the winter. Boots, a coat, a heavier blanket for his bed, and some groceries.
So Joel set out from the MAC. Zipping up his jacket a bit to protect against the cold, he slipped his hands into his pockets and started to walk. He hadn't decided yet if he wanted to take the subway or go run.
