[Cavil knows the Network so, so well. He hops connections as easily as he navigates streets - more easily, perhaps, the mechanical world true to his element so to speak, those beautiful blinking lights and hums and wires. He traces these wires to Lust.

A calculated risk, he thinks to himself. But allies are allies, and Lust has been the only one thus far not to disappoint him. (Except for something Selina said, something about being made from people but Cavil is made from people too, in a maddening, indirect way. Judgement must still be passed.)

He knocks. Once. Twice. It's a terribly mundane entrance, but there's little need for anything flashy.]

[Visitors are rare, invited ones nonexistent--if Lust wants to speak with someone, she does it in public, or in another apartment--so when she hears the sound she assumes it's quite unwanted, someone who's lost their way or some children making up for losing the opportunity to egg things on Mischief Night. She marks her place and sets the book down, headed for the door and the security cameras that accompany it, and she takes a look to see just who it is she'll be ushering away tonight.

Her eyes narrow. Lust waits, a long moment, and studies his face in miniature. She opens the door.]

[He doesn't quite smile. The corners of his lips raise slightly, tightly, but his eyes stay cold. There is no more room for geniality, not with his plan unraveled like a faulty casette tape.]

My dearest lady.

[Any surprise she might have felt (and there was some) is absent from Lust's face, which stays almost preternaturally calm, as though she's observing something. She doesn't move from her position in the door.]

Hello, you.

[Her voice conveys the pleasure her expression lacks, or at least the amusement; either way, she sounds almost pleased to see him. Meanwhile, she's idly wondering how long it took for him to contact her, assuming a few days instead of the approximate two weeks.]
