Ra's al Ghul had been in the City for less than twenty four hours. It had taken him less than twenty four hours to understand the new world's mechanization and to work out the abilities the Porter had bestowed upon him; as he'd left the building he'd been swarmed by shadows to hide his presence as if guided unconsciously by his will, and from there he'd gone on to further develop and examine the power's capabilities on the rooftop of a building, where he wouldn't be bothered by the people of the City.
This technology intrigued him; he'd have to look into it further. If there was anything worth saving about this world, it would be that. Power-granting.
His chest, like his clothing, was blood-covered (though he could feel no wound when he put his hand on it), but at nineteen hours he had not sought out new garments yet -- simply discarded the shirt. That could wait. Although uncertain at their range or their entire range of capabilities, Ra's had sent a cluster of acolytes made of shadows -- all that he had, presently -- to seek out if his blood was here somewhere, and to his satisfaction they returned to him with news. Talia was in Asia.
Ra's found himself there in a moment, in a country he'd never heard of; his other ability, as he'd discovered, allowed him to travel to his shadows wherever they may be, though if it was limited to that he hadn't tested. For now all that mattered was locating his daughter amongst the crowds.
