SUMMARY: Gerry is trying to pretend things are still normal. May has been running herself ragged.

[Gerry was trying his damnedest not to think too much about Reilly being dead. It wasn't something that he was mentally prepared to acknowledge or deal with, so he busied himself with his day to day routine. He'd done his homework, cooked some lunch, and when it started to get dark out, he still went on patrol. It wasn't healthy, and he wasn't feeling particularly nice to the criminals that he did find, but it was better than wallowing in his own sorry and feeling weak because, even after all the progress he though that he'd made, he still couldn't do anything to save his best friend.
And tonight... Tonight he couldn't sleep, so even after he'd normally gone to sleep, he was out in costume, swinging through the streets until finally landing and perching on a taller skyscraper, thinking as he overlooked the city.]
