Julian had been staying here since he'd found Sofia in this...state. He'd thought it was shock, and that it'd get better by itself.

So far that hadn't happened.

He'd heard her talking in the other room, and when he heard the comm dropping, he sighed and went to see what was up. Truth was, he was out of his depth here. He had no idea how to help her, and he wasn't convinced that his being here was doing any good at all.

But he couldn't leave her alone.

He went over to her, wary of the way she was backing off into the corner. He picked her comm up along the way.

"Sofia? What's wrong?"

"Porpoise," she murmured looking at his shoes. "Porpoise out of the sea. Isn't right." Julian's voice was soft, but soft was deceptive it could change. Nope she wasn't going to look up.

Since he'd already learned that asking what she meant would lead to nothing, Julian sighed and crouched down beside her.

"Yeah, I know, it isn't right," he said. He reached for her hands. "Who were you talking to?"

Charles would be entirely glad for Julian when he arrived, and even moreso since he had not expected it. He finds no reason to knock upon the door and he enters the apartment with ease -- though not without a short feeling of rudeness washing over him, even with how ridiculous that truly was in this situation. He could sense Julian's presence; though at first he was not familiar with the mind.

Julian left Sofia's side when he heard the voice. She wasn't exactly in a position to tell him what was up anyway, so he wasn't even expecting Xavier to be there. The last time he'd met Charles Xavier in person, he'd been talking to an older guy with a hell of a lot less hair. He was glad he'd had enough videos with this younger model that it wasn't weird anymore.

He didn't know why Xavier was here, though. He hadn't been able to get that out of Sofia.

"Hey, Professor."

Charles only seemed momentarily uncomfortable as he heard her voice from the other room. There would be no question as to the state of her mind; he sighed, and he faced Julian with an apologetic expression once he came face-to-face with him.

Normally and under any other circumstances, Charles would have extended a hand in greeting and a proper introduction to a man who knew him as someone else entirely. These, however, were hardly those circumstances. "How long has she been affected?" he asked, nodding his head in his greeting -- forgoing his standard options.
