SUMMARY: Baroona didn't evacuate, so Tom is dragging him to his apartment (because that's so much safer)

[Tom had been avoiding everybody ever since he'd had an instinctual meltdown and nearly killed Ggio, and even though he was better now, he'd still been avoiding people, especially the ones like Baroona, who had actually offered themselves to potentially be killed by Tom. They might not have seen it that way, but if they'd made one mistake, Tom wasn't sure that wouldn't happen.
He kind of wished these spawn would have shown up earlier, because then he wouldn't have had to hurt people he cared about, but now that they'd arrived, even though they were the kinds of things that he was used to fighting, he didn't feel particularly compelled to, so he stuck to his usual tradition whenever shit hit the fan here, which was to stock up on beer and cigarettes, order five or so pizzas, and relax around the apartment until it all blew over. Everybody here was a superhero in some regard, and the powerhouses, like Superman, were here too, so it probably wouldn't matter too much whether he jumped in or not.
And that had been his plan up until he'd heard on the network that Baroona wasn't leaving. He'd ignored it at first, since he knew the guy was capable, that he could take care of himself. He was a better fighter than Tom too, most likely. However, they differed on one crucial element. Tom was used to fighting Nazi abominations, metahumans, monsters, and even gods. These things weren't people, and this wasn't a fight on a battlefield. So, before Tom knew it, he'd jumped from his balcony, and ran from rooftop to rooftop until he'd made it to the park, tearing through every creature that god in his way until he could make it to Baroona's cave.]
