As he entered the alleyway to meet up with his two pals, she scanned the rooftops for the perfect place to drop down before noticing a familiar figure. A small smile formed on her face and she silently leaped over to the adjacent building. Holding her tattered cape close, she quietly approached Laura to take a spot next to her if the girl failed to notice her. But knowing her friend, that was unlikely.

It was safe to assume she was tracking the third arrival...that, or she had spotted Laura and just decided to stop and see her, though she wasn't certain if Cass was the type of person that did that.
"What are you looking for?" She finally asked, her voice barely a whisper.

"Him," she replied quietly, pointing to the third man, who was starting to show his wares to the other two. "Works for... Ninja gang."

She landed on the edge of a fire escape railing halfway towards the ground, dropping into a bunched up crouch and springing forward, using the momentum to slam one of them to the ground with her arm, curling into a roll as she landed behind him and spinning back around as she stood, several feet away.

But he also appeared to be trying to pull a gun out of his pocket. She hissed faintly in irritation and charged him, claws coming out on her left hand.

"Wait," she called out a bit urgently, abandoning her target and moving in to get the drug dealer out of harm's way if need be.

Oops.
Needless to say, he went down with a startled cry of pain, but before he could get very loud, she lashed out with her other hand, punching him hard in the side of the head and knocking him unconscious.
"What?" She finally asked, turning towards Cassandra.

In the meantime, the thug she'd been working on had managed to wiggle out of his bonds and pulled a gun on her from behind. Without looking, she kicked backward, knocking the weapon from his hand. She spun around and caught it, and hit him in the back of the neck with the butt of the gun.

"You thought I was going to kill him."

"Um. Yes," she admitted. There was no point in trying to lie.
Reply
"I wasn't going to." She said rather firmly. It was 95% true, at least. If the man had actually managed to shoot her, things would probably have gone different, but he hadn't.

"It's fine," she finally decided, shaking her head. It wasn't but she'd deal. So she turned her attention to her unconscious dealer, rifling through his pockets.
