[as usual, has her nose in a book--and just manages to stop short of running into Andromeda and her coffee cup]

I'm so sorry.

[She blinks, taking a half-step back and then managing a smile.]

I think that would've been both our faults, really -- so don't worry too much. Crisis averted, as they say.

[sees Andromeda juggling coffee and various items] Can I help you carry something?

[andromynous]

[She laughs, shaking her head.]

It's fine, but thank you.

[Once she shoves her communicator into her pocket again, it's much easier to manage the other two things.]

Let me at least get the door for you. [must.feel.useful.]

Uh, I know I've seen you on the Network before. I'm Maggie.

[andromynous]

I think I can accept that.

[She nods. The girl looks familiar too, in her own way.]

Andromeda. What's that you're reading?

[She's nosy, but also genuinely curious.]

[grabs the door. She's being helpful, yay!]

That's an interesting name. From Greek mythology.

[holds up the book] The Body in the Library by Agatha Christie. I've been doing some detective work. So I was looking for inspiration.

[andromynous]

It's a family tradition. Unfortunately, once you're disowned with the family you're still known by the name.

[She smiles briefly and steps outside once the door is open, then considers the book.]

Is it a detective novel, then? Some sort of murder-mystery?

[origamiguardian]

[that sounded familiar to her. A naming pattern she had read somewhere. But then, distracted by the other comment, and follows Andromeda outside.]

Agatha Christie is one of the most seminal murder mystery writers in the English language. [pauses] She wrote during the mid-twentieth century.

[andromynous]

I was never much for muggle literature past magazines.

[Then again, she hadn't really had access until she'd graduated.]

That sounds interesting, though. Might be helpful to keep me relaxed, reading in the evenings.

[perks with recognition of the word "Muggle." From the Potterverse then. Andromeda... Tonks? Was she Tonks' mother?]

I think a gift to write is a magic of its own. I'm sure there are many books out there that want you to read them.

[andromynous]

[She smiles.]

I'm sure that's true, too. I do need something to do on breaks at work -- I've just been going back to work early instead of relaxing.

You should enjoy your breaks. Especially since things can go crazy here on a moment's notice.
