Sofia turned up half an hour after the video chat with Julian like she promised. She was in fresh jeans and a flowery top and her damp hair was back from her face. At Julian's door she hesitated. She didn't know what she was going to say when he answered the door.
It wasn't doing her any good standing out there like an idiot. She raised her hand and knocked on the door and was fully prepared to use her wind to knock the door down if he decided not to answer.
