SUMMARY: Darkdevil and Black Bat go on patrol. Which turns into a date. Creeping out every criminal whose head they bash along the way.

Darkdevil was, underneath the cowl and scowl, a simple workaholic. So as soon as he got home from vacation he found himself spending every spare second on the streets. Couldn't risk going soft, of course, after spending a whole week not throwing people through windows.
To the dismay of the owner of the bar whose window he'd just broken. Who was letting him know just how he felt about the situation in loud, colorful and creative terms. Not that Darkdevil seemed to care much, catching a glimpse of a suspiciously familiar cape nearby.
His usual scowl promptly transformed into a big, goofy, full-fanged smile.
The man who had landed on the street did not seem to find it an improvement. But at least he was temporarily stunned enough to not shoot. Earning him a fireball just inches away from his face once Darkdevil snapped back to reality.
