[ Nepeta was quick to bound out of her apartment, though she struggled momentarily to lock the door - her new human friends had told her it was probably for the best that she did such things. She was in the hallway within minutes, powering her way downstairs with a quick and eager hop to her step that could be heard by plenty of neighbors (oops).

Nepeta stopped when she was at the main entrance doors, not exiting the lobby just yet - pressing her hands and face to the glass to see if she could see him through them first before proceeding any further. ]

[ Equius stepped closer to the doors, moving his hands to his sides. Waiting, he settled himself down on the sidewalk, sitting cross-legged. HE ASSUMES SHE'S ON HER WAY. ]

[ It's not long until Nepeta spots him and bursts forth from the doors, rushing to meet him. She dives onto him easily enough, though hardly with enough force to knock either of them over - noising out in delight as she nuzzles at his cheek. ]

Equius!! I was so mad when you died, I didn't even-I didn't get the chance to see if you could be revived, I-oh! [ She's talking a mile a minute, though she stops herself soon enough and tries her darndest to sit patiently and let him speak, her eyes wide and terribly eager. ]

[ He considers pulling away, not wanting to accidentally harm her with his tremendous strength, but can't quite bring himself to it. Instead he just stays put, allowing her to invade his space. ]

I would have rather you had remained where I told you, than be forced to witness such a shameful display. [ If she doesn't know she died yet, he's not going to tell her... right now. ] I'm... glad to see that you're okay. I was concerned.
