[Roy looked up as soon as he saw his friend, and he arched a brow at the way he looked rather... well. Hasty wasn't the right word. Speedy was close, but that was just him joking about it, anyway, and Roy grinned.]

What are you doing here? [Because everything had worked out for the best, right? He hadn't been able to capture the Joker, but he'd tried, and come out the better for it. That was something.]

[ Damnit, of course he'd be somewhere public. Somewhere with people around. Kids. ]

This is gonna sound a little crazy, but I need you to come with me right now. [ emphasis on now. ]

You're right, that does sound kind of crazy. [Says idly and tilts his head slightly.]

[ He runs a tense, stressed hand through his hair. ]

Cause I have it on pretty good authority that you've been compromised. And this isn't safe.

[Roy freezes for a moment before nodding.]

[ He paces a half step, but yeah maybe yelling at him isn't the best way to bring across the urgency of the situation.]

[Whoa, Dick yelling at him? They'd gotten into arguments before, but Roy wasn't even sure what the argument was about. This wasn't normal.]

You willing to stake lives on that? [ the words are less harsh, but still taut and hard. ]

There's a lot of what he does that can warp perception.

Think I might've tangled with him a few more times than you have. [ Which is maybe a little unfair, but damnit it's like talking to a brick wall. A brick wall with lethal combat skills, surrounded by innocent civilians. ]
