[Okay, she definitely wasn't the type of person that he expected to ever show up in this bar, but it wasn't wholly unwelcome, except for the fact that she definitely didn't look twenty-one.

Still, he walked over to where she sat, and leaned against the bar.]

You don't seem like you're lost, but you're definitely a new face. Can I get you anything?

[ What are you talking about, Tom? She's... clearly a few months past eighteen! Still, she didn't seem to mind that that she was younger than the usual patrons. Or even notice, really. ]

Hm? Oh, no, definitely not lost. I just enjoy wandering around the City and finding all sort of new sights. And this place seemed like the place to be. Do you ever get that feeling? Like you should be somewhere, even if you've never been there before?

[ She smiles. ] Do you have any Gillywater?

[Well, as long as she doesn't look under eighteen, it's alright for her to hang around. Not that he'd have kicked her, or anyone else, out anyway. He laughs, She's definitely interesting.]

Yeah, I think I get what you're talking about. Usually I have a bit of help in that, but when I first came here, I did the same thing, more or less, just wandering the City and getting lost until I find something interesting.

[He thinks for a moment, frowning a little.] I've never heard of that. What's it made with?

[ She looks upward, thinking. It's been a while since she had one. ] Let me think... tonic water, gillyweed of course, a squeeze of lemon and a cocktail onion if possible.

[ After rattling off the ingredients, she smiled back at him, so proud of herself for remembering. So unprepared for the disappointment to come. ]

A few things, I suppose. The City isn't very different from my home, though. It's mostly just different businesses and people, I guess.

[He grabs most of the ingredients that she lists, but he's never heard of gillyweed before, obviously, and he isn't even sure it's a real thing.]

Er, I don't have any gillyweed, unfortunately. If you can tell me what it tastes like, I could try to makes something close or similar to it, though.

It's very different from my home. I like it, though, now that I've had time to get used to it.
