OH MY GOD I SHOULD HAVE WRITTEN THIS DAYS AGO.

Jul 24, 2011 03:27

WHO: purmoncul and disillusionists (whoa I sound like Kanaya...) Oh, and Buckbeak.
WHERE: Srs's old warehouse
WHEN: OH GOD LIKE A SOLID WEEK AGO AT THIS POINT.
WARNINGS: Sirius may employ "logic."
SUMMARY: Having discovered a wizard nosing around her affairs, Rose Lalonde takes the initiative to investigate right back.
FORMAT: Any!

The warehouse where Sirius had been working is mostly cleared out now. A few of the broom prototypes remain against one wall, and there's a distinct engine grease smell in the corner where he'd had the motorbikes. Otherwise the place has been given over to Buckbeak. The hippogriff has taken the hodgepodge of scrounged furniture, smashed it up, and built himself a nest in the middle of the room.

...Which was not particularly helpful to Sirius, who has had to summon two of the kitchen chairs from the house, but if you're going to give your warehouse to a large magical creature, a few pieces of furniture that were only arguably yours to begin with were a small price to pay. which he's set inside a chalk circle, with the glass jar that has basically become his calling card at this point.

He's also brought some dead rabbits and a few raccoons (do not...ask where he got them) which he's currently levitating around the room in order to give Buckbeak a work-out. The place is just large enough for the hippogriff to get airborne. Which is of course the safest thing to be doing while one prepares for a new visitor, but a bored wizard'll put a hippogriff to shame in a Dangerous Creatures competition any day.
