FORMAT: Paragraph to start but, by God, feel free to do action afterwards. I just have to paragraph to set up.
In the days since he had come to the City he had bounced back fairly quick. Probably because he was pretty awesome at living in denial and ignoring things that upset him when need be and cover it all up with playing, screaming and beating up bad guys. (There certainly were a lot of mean fellas in this place, stealing people's purses and stuff.)
On that day though he was in the large park in the middle of the city. It was big enough that he could almost pretend he wasn't stuck in a big, dirty city and on that particular day he was going from tree to tree, looking for one large enough that could possibly be a good candidate for a nice treehouse. He had been staying in the MAC apartments, but extreme, barely repressed homesickness was forcing him to contemplate rebuilding.
When he wasn't looking at trees he was climbing in them, swinging around dangerously, chasing after squirrels and birds, throwing large stones at ponds thinking he could somehow get them to skip and, generally speaking, having a good time.
