Jessica was a good kid - and a decent enough superhero - but she still had a long way to go. Absolutely no deeper thought on how to actually conceal her secret identity (especially since Amanda cracked it so quickly), and probably leaped into fights looking to deliver knockout punches, like most superhero fights went.
So, as much as she wished the kid would just hang up the threads until she had enough training and was old enough for it, Amanda decided to reach a compromise. She'd personally show the kid how it was done, and up her chances of staying alive in a place and in a business like this.
So Amanda just sat down, checking her watch, and waiting for her to show up.
