[Jim wondered what he'd gotten himself into. Sure, Chili's is way tamer than Hooters, but it's still a public place where Michael can possibly get them into trouble. Jim likes Chili's, a lot, and he really doesn't want to get kicked out of it, especially now that Pam can go to the ones here. Still, he opens he front door and holds it, waiting for Michael and the inevitable ordeal.
But the guy deserves a break from everything that's happened. If had Jim had arrived here without Pam, he'd be a mess. It's just one of those things.]
