[Thor has a beer - his bazillionth, but it's impossible to tell - and two hot dogs. And a Mets hat. Represent. He's not following the game perfectly, and half the time when people shout things he's not positive what for, but he's having a fantastic time anyway.]

[Finally! Someone she can relate to. Well, you know, aside from the hot dog and hat thing (the hats were kind of cool; she should get one). She hadn't been sitting beside him before. This inning, she'd taken it upon herself to swap seats, plopping into the one beside Thor with ice cream in hand.] Hey.

[For half a second after he looks at her there's just nothing, having never seen her in person - and then recognition dawns on him.]

Zatanna! I had not thought to see you here. [He nods toward the field.] Which side has the good fortune of my lady's favor?

[fishnets]

[Then the heartbreak has been avoided.]

I know a few people that were going. [Mostly, Doctor Strange. And seriously, how could she pass an opportunity to meet Thor? (The answer is, she couldn't.)] I'm... not really partial to either? This is the first time I've actually been to a baseball game. [A beat.] What side should have my favor?

[A considering pause.]

I have heard the Yankees often triumph, and are beloved by many. The Mets have more need of luck.

[fishnets]

Then perhaps the Mets could use another fan. [She had to stare for a long time to figure out who was on which team, anyway.]

Well chosen. [He tips the brim of his hat a little, half teasing.] Now they must needs best the Yankees, for a fair lady's favor is the greatest good luck.

[ THIS TAG IS FAR TOO LATE... BUT WHATEVER. Midway through the inning Bob sits down in an empty seat next to Thor, only he has a Yankees cap on and a soft pretzel in his hand. He looks distinctly uncomfortable about being here, despite enjoying sports games, but... ]

I didn't miss anything important, did I?

[Thor just looks at him for a moment, surprised - he's doing cheerful things with people.]

Ah, no, they have but retaken the field. [A pause, and he smiles a little.] You favor the Yankees?

[ Bob nodded, smiling slightly to not quite match Thor's. ]

I used to, anyway. I haven't kept up with sports in a while. I always feel the urge to drink a beer when I do. [ He rubs the back of his head. ]
