[ this hitman is sitting on top of some random tall building in a ridiculously cliche superhero outfit, complete with mask and dorky cape and not even giving a damn.

either he's spying on the people in the city or scouting around looking for a pterodactyl to nab whenever one got too close. dinosaurs are cool, and he could think of a million ways to tease people with a flying dino. ]

[She's just kind of passing by and oh my god, what is that guy even. Obviously he's some kind of hero, but it's the tiny.... vaguely monkey-esque stature that has her interest piqued. Is he like six or what? Time to find out.

Marceline swoops on in and leaves the pterodactyls behind, scoping him out. The definition of "scoping him out" might include considering stealing his dorky cape, but thankfully she decides against it. From a few feet above him:]

[ looking above him at this girl flying around. this must be the one who was laughing so loud a bit earlier. interesting! he adjusts his mask and decides to put on a little superhero act. when in rome, and he was from italy and all that jazz. ]

Good evening, citizen! Fine evening this is!

[She continues flying, getting a little lower as she circles around him like a fish in an aquarium! That isn't the comparison Marceline herself would pick, of course, it's clearly not awesome enough.]

Yeah, man, whatever. So! You're a hero, huh?

[ he gets up and does a dramatic flick of his cape. it seemed like a great idea at first, but now it was just getting in his way. made him wonder why heroes even wore them.

the small binoculars he was peering through changed into a little green chameleon that climbed onto the top of his head. he always seemed to have lizards around him, and tonight was no exception. ]

Tonight I am. In the fashionable sort of way that is.

[She laughs lightly, then drops down closer to his level just in time to watch the very end of binoculizard!]

I can respect that. What's with the lizard?

[ Just as it was getting settled on the top of Reborn's head, he grabs it and holds it out for her to see. The small reptile flicks his tongue out at Marceline as a welcome. ]

This is my partner, Leon. He's a chameleon.

[She gives a little finger-waggling wave to the chameleon in question!]

Hey, Leon. [Directing her attention to Reborn again:] So, what's the name, short stuff?

[ putting Leon back on his spot on his head and then delivering his own little finger-wag ]
