The City certainly was a whole lot different than Andalasia, and Giselle was still not completely steady on her own, but! But there was the park. The big park. It wasn't very big compared to her magical forests and meadows, but when much of the skyline is clotted with gray and brown spires of steel and brick, that much green is a lot. She was very excited the first time she found her way there and continued to be excited each time she went - something she tried to do as often as she could. Of course, with the madness that overtook the City just days before, it was agreed among the residents she was guest with that it was best to just stay indoors and wait for it all to blow over. A weird phenomenon, yes, but who was Giselle to argue?
It made her triumphant return to the park all the more triumphant, and her satisfaction and joy with doing so played out for days. Hopscotch was hopped, vendor treats were sampled, children and passing families were greeted...why, Giselle was even on a friendly name-basis with a good three or four of the cab drivers that tended to frequent the blocks by Shockwave's abode! A bit unsettling at first, she even looked forward to seeing one's gap-toothed and greasy smile. After all, most everyone was good at heart, right? It wasn't good to judge by appearance!
Even with so many visits under her belt, she still had much to see, what with all the walkpaths and the ponds and all the interesting people that passed by day to day...Nothing made her happier, and with the sun shining and the clouds just ever-so-white and fluffy, she practically radiated with an infectious joy that many found hard to resist.
Who would be next to succumb to her seemingly limitless good vibe?
