[The boys had been complaining about eating rice all the time, and the guy whose room they were staying in, this "Vic Sage" character, clearly lived alone and didn't have children around often. And so it was, after only two days, they had to go for a supply run.

He had Thomas and Walter walking in front of him and as peered about to make sure the coast is clear. They ducked into the convenience store quickly and immediately started scoping the joint for anything good.
