Angelica had been following the bird and rodent situation fairly closely. With school canceled and most establishments closed, there wasn't much else to do but check the Network for anyone needing assistance from the pests. Aside from ushering neighborhood kids into their homes, she hadn't left the house. Because really, the thought of leaving the security of their brownstone wasn't even remotely appealing. In fact, it seemed needlessly dangerous, all things considered. But she could never say no to Pietro, especially when he was excitedly telling her about some secluded little park where there were no pigeons at all. It would be perfect for an evening picnic, and he had promised to take her on one, once it was warm enough.
This was such a bad idea.
She mentioned that to her husband as he led her toward the park, clutching the sack of hastily made sandwiches and sodas close to her. They were going to get attacked by pigeons, she just knew it. And she'd probably wind up having to save Pietro from being eaten alive. Again.
