These joyous relations and frolicking about was interrupted by the sounds of somebody else entering the warehouse. Gar didn't make it a point to hide, but he didn't come right out of the foliage. He'd rather make sure he knew who he was keeping company before he said hi, and...
Wildcat, right? Ted Grant's kid, who would try to help if Gar ever needed anything. So nothing to worry about.
A green leopard simply popped from behind some plants, taking a few smooth steps before parking it on the warehouse floor. "Just me. Good ol' Gar Logan."

He didn't recognize the scent, and he didn't remember the voice clearly, but the sight was unmistakable. Green talking leopard... Gar Logan. "Beast Boy, right?"
He immediately relaxed his stance, rubbing the back of his neck. "What are you doing here, man?" He's mostly curious, and kind of feeling like an ass for being ready to attack an ally.

"I, uh... I guess me and the cat go back a while. I've been really lame about visiting and everything, but hey. Looks like the guy's not hurting for company, huh?"

"I've been over here whenever I can, ever since Selina disappeared. I haven't actually known about this place very long, so I'm sure Ramus appreciates having a familiar face around." He shrugs a little. "Do you want a drink or something?"

But hey. Life.
He shrugged at the offer in return, cracking a smile. That was an easy enough decision. "Sure. Why not?"
Cue something of an instant sense of camaraderie. It was something he hadn't felt in a little while.

"C'mon, I have some beers upstairs in the office." He turned and led the way, then, as an afterthought. "Hey, you're green again."

He didn't really know what else to say about it. He didn't know what other points of conversation to bring up either, really, when they got to the office and he found somewhere to park it for a second. Striking up conversation was always a bit awkward when you didn't know who you were talking to. There were things that everybody could relate to, though.
"So. How long you been here?"

Once they'd made it up to the office, Tom walked over to the fridge, pulling out two beers and handing one to Gar. "I've been around for almost three months now. I'm finally getting used to the whole alternate universe new life thing." He takes a sip of his beer.
"How about you?"

So he counted, instead. When had he even gotten here? What had even happened since then?
A lot, huh? Damn.
"Uh. Two years in July, I think."
