With almost a year under her belt, making her time being Spider-Girl in the City essentially equal to her time being her back home (thanks to a few family-forced hiatuses), the City had pretty much lost all it's shocks for May. Oh, except for that one where she was no where near being the only spider-person in town. Spotting left over bits of webbing from where Gerry, or Ben and now Peter or Spider-Woman had recently been was still a trip in her book, especially after all those weeks back home of arguing with Gerry that New York only needed one spider-themed vigilante. So much for that idea.

While the slowly-becoming familiar sight of seeing someone else web-slinging their way through the streets wasn't really a shock, it was still more than enough to catch May's attention. She wasn't close enough for the radar to tip her off to the ID yet, but from the zoom-in her suit gave her it was either Gerry having a relapse into straight-up copy-right infringement or the original webster himself. Either way, May wasted no time in changing her course mid-air to chase after him. Maybe it had been a quiet night, but at least now it might shape up to be a half-interesting one.
