Bennett, being the incredibly neurotic thing she was, forced herself to be at the Thai place almost 30 minutes earlier than the time she and Alpha had agreed on. She was wearing just a typical
outfit consisting of a cardigan and a pencil skirt. Bennett didn't see much reason to really put an effort into her appearance. It wasn't like she was trying to impress Alpha or anything.
She sat at the table the hostess lead her to and just waited, tapping her fingers against the table. While meeting Alpha for dinner wasn't as nerve wrecking as it was meeting Topher, these sorts of things still put Bennett on edge. She had made a point to...not do much talking to actual people for a while after that whole fiasco with Topher. Which she was still bitter about. It took a lot of courage for her to go through with all that admitting her feelings business and when things hadn't gone well, it effected her. Pretty deeply. But now she was fairly certain she needed to come back out of her shell. At least a little bit. Enough to convince Donna and Kim that she was fine. Friends. They were so difficult. At least Alpha was a fun science project to study. There was also the added bonus of the fact that Topher's opinions of Alpha were less than stellar. Bennett kind of wanted someone they knew to see her out with Alpha and tell Topher. Just to see how he'd react. She quickly dismissed those kinds of thoughts, though. Since that'd be ridiculously childish.
