It was an unusually balmy day for early March in the City, with clouds high in the sky, streaking through the blue in wisps of white. Not that the weather particularly mattered to Angelica or Pietro, their day was to be spent indoors, surrounded by their friends and surrogate family, and despite some noticeable absences, their special day would proceed without a hitch. Not even a late afternoon rain shower, or an unruly guest or two could stop that.
