[ She looked at him, her eyebrows quirked in confusion. Everyone wanted something, but she had no idea what his angle was yet. Maybe he was part of a ring that kidnapped imports. Or maybe he wanted to use her powers to steal things. Not that she'd complain about the latter: as long as she was paid. However, the only way to figure out what was going on was to actually play along, and figure out what he wanted. ]

How could I do something like that? I can't let someone fight for me. [Because if someone got hurt because of him, he'd just die.]

All I want is the chance to get to know you. Oh I got you something, sort of a peace offering. [He extended the bag. Inside were a few boxes of chocolates and other candies. And a small stuffed animal, that he hoped wasn't too childish for her.]
