Happy Valentines Day, Losers!

SUMMARY:  Bender has decided to scam people with a dating service. Karkat sits and stares angrily. Zoidberg is abused. Hilarity ensues (?!?)

Hank wonders to his table sheepishly, and feels a little nervous to find it empty. The shoes were terribly uncomfortable and he wished he hadn't worn them, but he wanted to make a good impression. The whole situation had him feeling self-conscious and he wondered if he shouldn't have brought an image inducer.

He placed the flowers he'd brought on top of the table and resigned himself to wait. As he made sure his bowtie wasn't crooked, he frowned at the jug of water.

This had been a terrible idea.

Donna had signed herself up for this dating service, mainly because she didn't want to be alone on Valentine's Day but also with the hope that she might find Mr. Right. For the occasion, she had dressed up in a black dress and matching heels with her red hair loose around her shoulders.

When she arrived at the table to see her date already there, her first thought was that he was blue. However, she quickly reminded herself to judge on personality rather than appearances. After all, when she first met Lance she thought he was gorgeous and then he had tried to feed her to a giant spider.

She smiled as she sat down opposite him, "Hello," she extended a hand for a handshake, "I'm Donna."

He rose to meet her approach and offered his hand. "Dr. McCoy, though I prefer Hank." He presented her the bouquet he'd left on the table. "These are for you."

As he resumed his seat, he was set at ease to see she was nearly as overdressed for the occasion as he was for the establishment. This would probably be best if he didn't let himself be too nervous, anyhow, though the water jug still made him curious. He'd had yet to see a waiter yet, but they may have been waiting for her arrival.

"So," he started thoughtfully, "why don't you tell me about yourself?"

TABLE 2- TERRY WARD and MAY PARKER

[May showed up only a little late. Late-ish, really. She couldn't help it that there was always something to grab her attention in the city. Luckily, her nice-but-not-too-nice red dress isn't all that rumpled by the time she makes it into the restaurant, even if her heals have gotten a bit scuffed.

She takes a deep breath, smoothing down her hair one last time before she heads over to find and take her seat. Why the heck had she thought this would be a good idea, anyway? Oh, that's right. Parker luck.]

TABLE 3- RORONOA ZORO and HIMURO MARUKO

[Sanji had told him to dress nice for these things, so for once, he listened. Wasn't sure why, but after getting punched in the face earlier by Himuro, his pride was too wounded to argue. So he enters the restaurant looking lost and confused and wearing a pretty nice suit. He finally settles at the table, taking advantage of the abundance of wine (though he'd prefer beer) while waiting for something to happen.]

[Himuro had almost decided to stay home; after all that..fuss with Zoro earlier, she had just felt like hiding in her apartment all day in case he came back. But she decided that it would be a good idea to get out of the house for awhile, so she had dressed up (in an actual dress for once!) and went off to the restaurant.

It seemed pretty nice..until she saw that familiar head of green hair at a table not too far away.]

You have got to be kidding me..

[Zoro is oblivious, leaning back and rocking in his chair. He orders more wine, turning to flag down a waiter.

And that's when he sees her.

... And then he starts to look nervous. Not angry like normal. Nervous.]

[ She shows up a little late, looking not very happy, though she did take the time to dress up just a little. Even if she's still wearing the S-shield on her shirt. Whoever signed her up for this thing is going to have their hands full with one very annoyed Kryptonian after she's done with dinner with... whoever she ends up having dinner with. ]

[He didn't know what to expect when he received the letter telling him to come here, but it wasn't like he had anything better to do, or anybody to be with, on Valentines, so he might as well see what was up with this. He wasn't exactly happy about being set up on this blind date, but he wasn't about to stand someone up.]

[ And this is a very awkward situation. Still, she holds out a hand for him to shake. ]
