He was a bit early, but Andy had always preferred to be fashionably early than fashionably late. It displayed an eagerness for company, which always reflected well upon oneself.
Of course, at this hour the bar was not crowed. Most of the people there were either employees or single men or people there independent of the holiday, which wasn't many at 3 PM. All the better, really -- who needed crowds anyway?
