Jack didn’t like having to outsource his team’s training needs, but there was simply no other place in the City that could create a fully realistic simulation of anything STARS could encounter the way the X-men’s Danger Room could. The room didn’t look like any sort of training facility he had ever seen, but he supposed that was to be expected from something that used hard-light projections instead of conventional targets and obstacles.
“Remember,” he told his team, “we’re guests here. Don’t break anything you don’t have to.”
