Peter still wasn't back. Neither was Ben Reilly. And now Frank was out of prison and Bullseye was on the loose. Those factors, combined with the insane events of last week should have been enough to keep Matt indoors and off the streets for a few days. But the City's criminals weren't taking the week off just because of weird weather and giant bubbles and creepy shadows lurking around. In fact, some intrepid criminal types were using the chaos and confusion to their advantage and were working overtime. Naturally Daredevil was compelled to return the favor.
So he took to the streets at sundown, popping out of the shadows and scaring the hell out of criminals, occasionally making use of his fists and billy clubs. In between skirmishes there was ample rooftop ledge crouching and posing. Generally speaking, these nights were business as usual for a man who was used to dressing like the devil and beating people up.
