Fountains were happy places. Maybe they'd be in a better mood.
But she saw a familiar face by a pond, and decided to see how she, and the pond, were doing.
"Hello, you're the girl with the pretty glasses, aren't you?"
Reply
She gestured at the pond. Because, you know, it was polite to introduce your friends. Right? "--The pond."
Reply
"Oh, but can he see me? My shower this morning seemed to be able to, can ponds see as well?" Perhaps Luna would know, these new... realities were terribly hard to keep track of sometimes.
Reply
Said with a shrug. At least it didn't try to drown her for insulting it, or something... "My shower got very upset with me. Not that I blame it, but it blasted on the hot water to make me leave, and that hurt a bit."
Reply
Which happened a fair bit with Arkady. She didn't mind, sooner or later things worked out.
"I think you have to be nice. Like this..." She turned to the pond with another wave, "Hello, Mr. Pond! Or, Miss, I don't want to assume. Thank you for looking so pretty today, and I hope the recent weather changes haven't been too disruptive for you!"

Luna blinked back at her, clearly not understanding how such a thing could have happened.
The pond, on the other hand, was busy splashing up at them in greeting. It seemed appreciate manners far more than people accidentally throwing things in it.
"Oh, thank you, I do try. Though it's difficult with people throwing all of this muck in me, and I do get so cloudy when the weather is bad, it's very nice of you not to notice... oh, and either is fine. I don't really mind."
Reply
Arkady shrugged, it really wasn't a big deal.
She looked back at the pond. "Do you have any fishes ever? I bet the fishes are nice."
Reply
As if to answer Arkady's question, however, the pond seemed to clear itself just enough to reveal a school of tiny goldfish swimming in its waters.

Pointing, Arkady looked at her new friend. Luna seemed to understand, what it was like to make sense in your head, but not to anyone else. It was sometimes lonely. The FreakAngels never held it against her, but the others in Whitechapel sometimes did.
Except the children, maybe that was why Arkady liked playing with them so munc.
